Prayer March 4, 2010

The Lord brought me back to something, when the Hankins were hear that the Lord said, and I told him afterwards, this is something that we’ve taken as a congregation.  It’s been spoken over and over again about this church, about the fire of God being in us. And it’s true, there is a fire in us, and people recognize it when they come, because there’s a fire in us that the Lord has put.  And of course it’s up to us to keep that kindled.  I’m talking about all of us corporately as a church.  One of the things that when I start teaching again in a couple of weeks, I may teach some things on (and it’s funny that Kevin was thinking about going that way) the corporate anointing.

What we are seeing, and I feel like the strength of what we are coming into in this hour isn’t that it’s the anointing on ministers (not to minimize that – we have to have that), but it’s the corporate anointing.  When we come together in a body like this and in services and when we have guest ministers in, it isn’t all about the guest minister.  It’s about everybody being here and everybody pulling and everybody with that fire in them and the corporate anointing that it brings, and what can happen when there’s a corporate anointing. 

What we see, the power we see in the early church is the power of corporate anointing.  They moved together as one and there was a power.  There was a unity.  There was this unity of purpose and this unity of cause and this unity of movement that caused the power of God to come to bear on every situation they came up against.  That’s the corporate anointing.  So I want to read this, and then I am going to read something that Brother Hagin prophesied about that I actually have on my Facebook and you can get it if you go on there.  You can just print it out. 

This is the word of the Lord through the Hankins a couple of years ago.  It says:

“All things are possible to this generation, and to the next generation.  For this generation, praise God, shall see the Glory of God.  And so, there will come a fire out of your mouth.  The fire of God will stir in your belly.  It will burn in your inner man, and it will come out of your mouth like a torch.”  Now, they were talking to us, but they were talking to us corporately, as well.  “The fire of God will stir in your belly.  It will burn in your inner man, and it will come out of your mouth like a torch.  And it will torch things, and cause the power of God to bend and to move and change, Praise God, things that have been around here for years and years and years.”

This anointing that we carry, you know, it’s been said of us, this prayer mantle we have, this is what it is.  There’s a mandate, there’s an anointing on us to, by the Spirit of the Lord, I’m talking about, that He moves through our prayers to remove burdens.  And so, when we pray for places, when we pray into what God is doing, whether it’s here or in different lands, there’s an anointing and a fire that torches things, and the power of God bends and moves and changes things that have been in place a long time.  So hindrances and things that have blocked the Word of God from going forth for a long time are changed and moved because of that anointing.

I am sharing that tonight because this is something we must put our faith to.  We must realize that our prayers are very effectual.  Because, if we buy into what the enemy would want us to think, that our prayer lives don’t matter much and that there’s not a whole lot of effect if we don’t pray, that it’s not a big deal if we don’t pray.  Then you know what people will do?  They’ll sit back and not pray.

But when you begin to realize that there’s a fire in you, that there’s a fire that’s meant to come out of your belly . . . how is it released?  Up and out of your mouth.  And by the power of God, and by the anointing of God.  It’s only something God could do.  You know, in and of ourselves, we have no power to change anything, but when we yield to the spirit and that power comes up and through us and it’s pointed at those things as the Holy Ghost has us pray into things, those things are bended, changed . . . you know, they are forever changed by the power of God.  And that’s an exciting thing.  It’s the power of prayer that we possess.

The prayer series we are doing with the Toddler and Jam, a couple of weeks ago the lesson was on prayer and forgiveness.  We were telling the Toddlers and the Jam kids that faith is that key component in your praying.  You have to believe that what you are praying about will come to pass.  It’s that faith element, you know. But we also have to have the love.  That’s where the forgiveness comes in.  Because the Bible tells us that faith works by love.  We have to have that.

I am going to read this through Brother Hagin, and it says this:

“When you’ve preached as long as I have, you can start to see things come in waves.  And I can sense it in my spirit; there is another wave coming.  Get ready for it.  It isn’t coming just because God said it’s coming.  It’s coming because we will enter into a deeper realm of prayer.  If you’ve ever gone down to the ocean and watched the waves coming in, you know before a wave even breaks on the shore, it has it’s beginnings way out in the deeper waters of the ocean.  The potential energy of the wave begins long before you ever see the final result coming upon the shore.  Well, that’s what praying in tongues accomplishes in the spiritual realm.  When you pray in the spirit, you give impetus to the next move of God’s Spirit before that spiritual wave is ever seen with your natural eyes.

"We have seen the wave called “the healing revival.”  We have seen the wave called the “charismatic movement.”  We have seen the wave of faith and the teaching of God’s Word.  But now another wave is coming, and it’s the wave of the Holy Ghost.  And, yes, we’ve seen the power of the Holy Ghost in a limited fashion, but a wave is coming that will bring His power in a higher level and a far greater measure than we have ever seen before.

"I can see that wave yonder in the deep waters.  It’s coming, it’s coming, it’s coming and the waves of the Holy Ghost power are coming.  Hallelujah!”

Isn’t that neat? 

Prayer . . . prayer is so important.  It’s really not a wonder to me that the devil will work so hard to keep the Church from praying and out of the Word.  The two key ingredients that we need.

So, let’s pray.  I am excited about the Hagins coming – the Living Faith Crusade – and what the Lord wants to speak into our lives.  And not just us - there are ministers that are coming from all around the area.  So, the reaches of this are way bigger than just what would be here in our congregation.  The reaches of it are for the whole region, the whole area.  I am just believing for them to have utterance.  You know it wouldn’t be, not to say that they do this . . . I’ve never been in one of their crusades.   You know, we were in Brother Hagin’s, but I haven’t been in Pastor and Mrs. Hagin’s crusades to kind of know the theme of what they do, but our prayer is that it wouldn’t just be a crusade as normal.  That there would be that, what God would want here.  What needs to come out here, what needs to happen now, how people need to be affected now.  Those words from heaven that are going to set in motion, and set that fire in people, and set us straight where we need to be set straight. And motivated where we need to be motivated for an area to be changed.  And for us to do what needs to be done to reach to the ends of the earth.  So, let's be praying along those lines a little tonight.  And before they come in, the people that are called to be here, all those ones, that they would come in and they would be here - that they would come, that there wouldn't be hindrances and all of that.  Utterance. We just need it to come forth

  • We worship You and we praise You tonight Father.  We give You honor and glory. We worship and praise You.
  • We are seeking You tonight Father
  • We come to You, Father.  We come by the Blood of Jesus.  We come seeking Your face, Father.
  • We require You as our vital necessity tonight, Father.
  • Oh, Father, Your Presence in our lives.  Hearing Your voice.  Knowing You, Father, is a vital necessity
  • We recognize that tonight, Father.  We come tonight, putting You first with our whole hearts. 
  • We come tonight seeking You, seeking Your Presence.
  • Oh, that our ears would hear.  That we would hear Your voice.  That You would be opened up, Father.  The deeper, intimate knowledge would be opened to us, Father. That we would know you more.  That we would be changed by Your Presence.
  • Oh, how we seek You tonight, Father.
  • We come by the Blood of the Lamb. We make much of the Blood. We take that Blood tonight, and by faith we apply the Blood over our lives and over our families, and over every person that calls Living Word River Valley their home church.
  • We apply the Blood, spirit, soul and body over these that we have lifted before you.
  • We declare tonight in faith that not one weapon that is formed against us will prosper.
  • We thank You, Father God, that we are victorious; we are victorious in every situation and in every circumstance.
  • We thank You and praise You, Lord, that we are overcomers.  We rejoice in the victory that is ours
  • Thank You, Lord, for you always cause us to triumph through Christ
  • We thank You for victory.  Everyone that is in a faith fight tonight, we thank You, Lord, for victory
  • We thank You, Lord, for answers to prayers.
  • Love never fails.  Your Word never fails.
  • We thank You right now, Lord, for breakthroughs in the lives of those that are believing You for the impossible - believing You for the turnaround.
  • We thank You for those breakthroughs, Father, in people's health, in their bodies, we thank you for healing and wholeness in bodies tonight, in the Name of Jesus Christ
  • We thank You, Lord, for turnaround.  A turnaround in people's health, in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ
  • Strong bodies, healthy bodies, sound minds, long lives. With long lives you satisfy us and show us Your salvation
  • Miracles, miracles
  • The wonder of Your Word working, it's a wonder, Father.  It's a sign and it's a wonder, how it affects a healing and a cure in bodies.  We thank you for it.
  • We thank You, Lord, for hearts made right, hearts made whole, lungs made whole, lungs made right functioning properly
  • Health and wholeness in bodies
  • Strength to bodies. We pray a strengthening to the spirit man of those that are standing in faith and they would be strengthened in their stand and fight of faith
  • We thank You, Lord, for breakthroughs in finances and financial situations
  • Breakthroughs where jobs are concerned
  • We thank you for it, jobs opened up.  the right job, the right place for these people, Father
  • We command hindrances and obstacles to be removed and to be cleared out of the way.  We call in work.  We call it in in the Name of Jesus
  • We declare that they are highly favored and work comes to them.  Jobs come to them
  • Increase comes to us, Father
  • Jobs, jobs, promotions on the jobs.  Unexpected promotions and raises, Father.  They come to us in the name of Jesus.
  • There is a coming up to another level.  We thank you for it now, for you are faithful to provide, Father.
  • We thank You, Father, that ears hear and that we accurately discern the direction and the leading of the Lord.
  • That we walk in the wisdom of God.  Not in our own way, but in Your way - in the way that You have made, in the way that You have opened
  • And so, Lord, I thank you for light, light to all the eyes, light on the way, Father.
  • Light on decisions.  Light on decisions, Father.  We thank you for the light on decisions, in the Name of Jesus
  • We thank You for the breakthroughs
  • We give You glory for the lives that are being touched and changed
  • For those, Father, that have been born again.  For those that have come to the realization, and they've made a turn, Father, and they're walking in a new way
  • They are walking in the light. They are walking in the high way
  • We thank you, Lord, for you are faithful, Lord, and You are moving
  • You are moving through the prayers.  You inspire us to pray, you are moving
  • You are moving to perform Your Will
  • You are moving to bless them, Father, for it is Your heart to bless them. For You love us with a love that knows no end
  • We thank You for it tonight, Father. We give You honor and glory and praise
  • For Your plans, Lord, Your plans and purposes
  • And so, we move like a well-oiled machine.  All the parts are working
  • Father, You've made every part with a purpose. Every part has a purpose
  • You made every part to be working
  • So, Lord, we pray now for the working of the Body. Every part of the Body, Lord. The supplies that are needed, we lift them up tonight
  • We pray into the life of every believer, and we say to them, do the work that you have been called to do
  • Function, function in your grace and take your place
  • Take it! By faith, take it! By faith, take your place
  • Don't say, I can't do it! Don't say, I don't know.
  • No! Begin to step forth and declare, I can do all things, I know.  For I have the anointing on the inside, the unction of the Holy One, and I know all things. 
  • I know what I am to do.  I know what my place is
  • Walking in the light, and it causes you to shine!
  • And the glory of the Lord is seen. And the glory of the Lord is revealed
  • Their eyes are opened and they see because of the light that is upon thee!
  • For you are meant to shine with the glory of the Lord
  • All the parts functioning
  • Satan, we come against you in the Name of Jesus
  • Lethargy and complacency, a spirit of heaviness, get off of them
  • We command you to loose your hold and leave, in the Name of Jesus
  • Go, in the Name of Jesus!
  • We thank you, Lord, for the anointing
  • Your burden is not heavy, Your burden is easy and your yoke is light, Father
  • Because of the anointing, because of the grace. 
  • You've given us a work to do, but thank God we are not doing it in the flesh.  We are doing it in the power of the spirit
  • Energize, energize.  I thank you, Lord, we are energized by Your Spirit to do all the will of God
  • Spirits arising.  The fire of God in our bellies
  • We are arising, arising and shining with the Glory of the Lord
  • Arise, arise
  • No drawing back, no drawing back
  • We are not of those that draw back
  • The Body
  • So, yeah, Lord, divine appointments
  • For You bring the Hagins here, Father
  • You are sending them here. They are sent to this place. They are sent to us now for such a time as this
  • So, as sent ones, they carry an anointing to deliver, to deliver the Word
  • To deliver the Word in season
  • We lift that up, Father, the Word in season
  • For they do not labor in vane, but no, by the Spirit, they deliver
  • Special delivery. The message, it's coming special delivery, and it's got our address on it
  • For us, it's for us. It's for now, for those that are gathered here, Father. 
  • For this area, for this region
  • We take it, right now, we take it
  • We declare, that's our word, that's our word
  • We receive it, we receive it. We unwrap it. We open it
  • We take it all in and we say, thank you in advance, Father
  • Thank You for that which is needed
  • The equipment, we open that up and there is a supply
  • Necessary tools and equipment
  • And we say thank You Father for the supply of the Spirit
  • For all the ministers, Father, that are gathered, that come at Your command
  • And so, we pray into them, into their ministries, into their call
  • Take the equipment, draw off of that supply
  • Lay hold on that, for there is a fresh oil, there is new, there is something new
  • There is something new that God has called you to do
  • For it's a new time, it's a new season, it's a new year, it's a new time
  • And the old is not enough to take you where the Holy Ghost is taking you
  • So in the name of Jesus, lay hold on the new
  • That equipment is hand-fashioned by the Spirit of the Lord for you
  • Take it, take it and make it yours
  • And it looks a little different. What is that?
  • That's different, that's a supply, that's equipment I've never seen before
  • I'm not acquainted with it
  • Oh, but it comes with instructions
  • The Holy Ghost, He will show you what to do
  • The Holy Ghost, He will tell you what to do
  • The Holy Ghost, He will give you line upon line and precept upon precept what it is that you must do
  • And how you will put it to use
  • Not understood at this juncture and at this point, but as the plan and the call of God unfolds, you will see that it's a gift of great price - of great value
  • And so Father, we take it
  • We receive, we receive
  • Father, we are clearing the way
  • I am reminded of that, Father, we lift up Kenneth Hagin tonight, Father
  • The dimensions, You know, to his office, to his call
  • There is a more, there is a furtherance, Father
  • We lift him up and we pray about the calling, even this year that he's to step into the office, Father
  • And out of that office, the Lord would say unto you, declare ye, declare ye what ye see, declare what you know
  • And teach out of that office
  • It's a revelation. It's revelation that the Body needs to know.
  • And it can only come forth from that higher place, from that higher office
  • The fullness, Lord.  The fullness of the office and the calling
  • Far reaching, greater, don't ya know
  • The mantle, the mantle.  For the mantle has come upon you
  • There's more, there's more to that word that you've received in the past
  • It's deeper and it's wider. It's the fullness
  • And it was spoken and it was said. It will surely come to pass, saith the Lord
  • Your greatest days are ahead. The greatest, the greatest
  • Father, that which you called him and set him in the earth to do.  That is what we are praying into
  • Not just where he has functioned before
  • It's all been good and it's all been great and it's all been by the will of God, but now it's time for the greatest
  • The unveiling of the greatest. The revealing of the greatest. The coming out of the greatest
  • It's a coming out party.  It's time for you come out and to come into all.  All of the call
  • The way, the way. We clear the way
  • The mandate. The mandate to go was on your father, and that mantle has come upon you
  • It's the last great (tongues), and you're the one to carry that, Sir
  • You are not the whole, but a part of, but it's significant. That supply is significant
  • The parts and the pieces. Those parts and pieces coming together now
  • As we're praying, lets just see like parts of a jigsaw puzzle
  • And so now, Father, parts and pieces coming together, fitting together, in the right place
  • And You're moving, You're moving the parts, You are moving the pieces, Father
  • Oh, You are moving the parts and the pieces as we pray. Through our prayers, there is a moving. 
  • The Holy Ghost is moving, and He's moving men, and He's moving women, and He's moving gifts
  • In some, it's just a little adjustment.  And some are way over here, and they are being moved over here
  • They are being moved into position
  • It seemed like they fit here, but no, no, no, that's not quite right. Over here, ahh, there it is! That's the perfect fit!
  • And the pieces then, cooperative. Thank you, Lord, we cooperate with the Master and the master plan. For there is a master plan
  • It's not just about what we are doing here. No, what we are doing here, fits into the master plan
  • There is a master plan, and You are the author. You are the Master of the master plan
  • That's why we must hear and we must move at Your command
  • Because it's not revolving around what we do here. No, it's all about the master plan
  • No one sees that like You do, Father, but you give us eyes to see where we are to be at any given time
  • At that opportune time, You move upon our hearts. You move us into place, you maneuver us by your spirit, Oh, God
  • For You give us ears to hear, and by the Holy Ghost on the inside, there is a leading, there is a guiding and You are moving. Hahahaha
  • And every move is calculated. Every move is strategic. Every move, it's for a time, it's for a season, it's for a purpose, and it's for your reason
  • And the enemy, he sits back and scratches his head, for he can't begin to understand what it is the Master is doing
  • It's the master plan
  • As it is written, eye has not seen, ear has not heard, neither has it entered into the heart of man all that God hath prepared - that is the master plan
  • Yet, it is revealed unto us by the spirit
  • So, we thank You, Lord for revelation
  • And we thank You, Lord, that revelation puts us in the right place at the right time, with the right people, and we have the right words
  • It's by revelation
  • Light and revelation
  • And what one does hear, it affects someone way over there
  • Like the branches. Abiding in the vine, we're abiding in the vine, but the branches are also connected
  • And so, Father, the bigger connections.  Connections for the bigger picture. We pray into the connections, Father
  • Connections between the streams. Connections between the rivers
  • As we've prayed about rivers, rivers coming together to produce a greater outpouring of the Spirit of the Lord to produce greater impact
  • Little rivers do a little work, but when little rivers begin to flow together and it becomes a mighty moving force, there's much more cause and effect
  • There's much more power.  There's much more momentum.  There's much more of an impact
  • And so, to sweep the nations, Father.
  • The rivers at the junctions. The places where things are to connect. Where rivers are to connect
  • We pray into those junctions where rivers are meant to come together, they are meant to flow together, they are meant to merge together
  • We pray into those points, Lord
  • The mergers, the mergers
  • Oh, Father, You give us eyes to see and the witness of the spirit to know, even in the natural,
  • If it would see, how is that to work and how is that gonna function and how would it go?
  • But on the inside, there's a witness. This is a merger, and it must be so
  • And we must lay down our differences and we must come together and have the Holy Ghost flow
  • It's a merger by the Spirit of the Lord
  • Thought impossible by many, and in fact, in the past, it was.
  • But this is a new day, and the Holy Ghost is moving in a Holy Ghost way
  • And what is impossible with man is completely possible and will come to pass through the Lord, in Him
  • Yep, yep, yep - it's nothing that can happen in the natural. It's nothing that can happen in just works of the flesh
  • But, oh, Father, in the Spirit. That's why you are drawing us into the spirit, to live in the spirit, to walk after the spirit
  • We praise You for it tonight, Lord. We praise you for the mergers
  • My, my, my.  And the right spirit, yeah, even as it's been discussed tonight, the love of God.
  • The love of God that unifies. The love of God that joins us together. The love of God that transcends and transforms and even transcribes
  • Mighty. It is a mighty working of the spirit.
  • And the world, as it is written, it is by the love they will know us by the love of God
  • It will cause a neck to crane. It will cause a head to turn. 
  • It's mighty. It's a mighty moving of the spirit. It's a mighty moving of the love of God. It's a mighty drawing together
  • A merging together
  • We praise You that Your ways are higher than our ways.
  • They are higher. That's why we come and you bring us into the high way, Lord
  • Where You move and where You operate and where You function and where Your plan is fulfilled. In that high way, for Your ways are higher
  • If we are going to flow with You and do what You'd have us do, we must operate higher. We must learn to live in the higher and to flow in the higher and to be moved by what is higherToo long, the Church has been moved by what is lower. Move by differences. Moved by strife.  Moved by things that would alienate and keep us apart,
  • But oh, we are coming into a time where we will be moved by what is higher - by the love of God, by the cause of Christ
  • And we'll lay aside and throw things down that are lower to soar in the way that is higher
  • We embrace that tonight, Father. We embrace the higher tonight, Lord
  • We worship You for what You are doing. We worship You for what is taking place. We worship You for the new things that You are bringing us into, and for the fullness of Your grace
  • We worship You for the capacity of the impossible - to go where we have never gone, to do what we have never done
  • We worship You that it is a mission possible, and we will do it in the power of the spirit for we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us
  • We worship You in all Your ways. We rejoice in the greatness of Your plan
  • Every word of God being alive and full of power. Every word coming to pass. And it will all come to pass, it will all come to pass at last
